It’s OFFICIALLY Halloween season and Invoca is SCARY EXCITED about celebrating with our fa-BOO-lous customers!

Spirit of Children is a non-profit that provides costumes and throws Halloween parties for children who are too sick to leave the hospital.

We will donate $30 in your name to this incredible organization; all you need to do is respond in the thread with an Autumn or Halloween-themed photo or recipe! Have you carved a pumpkin lately? Maybe you have some spooky decorations up, or perhaps you have a favorite fall recipe you're dying to share... or a killer costume. We want to see! 🍂👻

Pumpkin Cookies

1/2 cup butter, softened to room temperature

1-1/2 cups white sugar

1 egg

1 tsp. vanilla

1 15oz. can of 100% pumpkin (plain, not kind with spices added)

2 to 2-1/2 cups of flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. baking soda

2 tsp. nutmeg

2 tsp. cinnamon

2 cups chocolate chips

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in egg, pumpkin, spices, and vanilla. Add baking soda, baking powder, and flour. Mix well with electric mixer.  Add chocolate chips and mix with spoon.

Grease cookie sheet or use parchment paper. Drop dough with spoon (cookies will not spread when baking). Bake for 13-15 minutes. Cool before storing.  Do not store in airtight container; cookie will get soft.
