Symptoms
You see the following error when attempting to activate a pending campaign: undefined method 'empty' for nil:NilClass .
Applies To
Campaigns that are in the "paused - pending" status.
Resolution
Ensure that campaign is not archived. Be sure to look at the view with "all campaigns" in the "manage campaigns" section of the platform. The standard default won't show archived campaigns.
Cause
This campaign is archived, and needs to be unarchived. Edits to a campaign cannot be saved in an archived campaign.
