Question Variations

When visiting our website in private or incognito browsing, the Invoca tag doesn't swap numbers. This includes Firefox, Safari, and DuckDuckGo browsers, among others. Why is this happening?

Answer

If a tag is deployed through Google Tag Manager, it will not work in private mode on most browsers, or in the DuckDuckGo browser in general. This is because these browsers use a mode that blocks Google Tag Manager specifically. In addition, they will block Google Ads, Google Analytics, Microsoft Bing Ads, and Facebook Pixel.

The solution is to use the Invoca tag manager for deployment. The Invoca tag manager will not be blocked, and the Invoca script will function normally on these websites.
