Question Variations

  • How does the Invoca Call Ingestion system store call recordings?

Applies To

  • Presense Customer's.
  • Customer's interested in Invoca's Call Ingestion System

Answer

Invoca has two options for external call ingestion:
  • The first option is via a public HTTP URL link, e.g. Amazon S3 presigned URLs. These are timed links that are valid for Invoca to process them for a period of time configured by you. After processing them, the recordings are stored in S3 alongside standard Invoca call recordings. For added security, you can opt for creating URL links that require tokenized access.
  • The other option is for Invoca to fetch the recordings directly from your storage through our Recording Proxy Service--which knows how to talk to S3 directly--utilizing S3 credentials rather than a recording link.

For both options, the Invoca Audio Processing system will download the recording and store them in Amazon S3.

Additional Information

There is a maximum recording length of three hours that Invoca will process.

Is there a way to download a call, so I can share it with the team member for training purposes?
