Customers have vanity numbers on pages and they don’t get swapped.

Answer

The Invoca Tag has the ability to detect numbers on the page in different formats, including XXX-XXX-XXX or XXX.XXX.XXX, as long as they are composed of 10 or 11 digits and consist of numerical characters.

 

To enable the Tag to recognize and replace vanity numbers, customers need to enter them in the 'Numbers to Replace' section in the UI exactly as they are displayed on the page. Vanity numbers can be of standard or non-standard length.

 

However, it is essential to note that if customers are utilizing the Destinations feature, any vanity numbers added in the UI must adhere to standard length and cannot exceed that limit. 
 


For instance, the Invoca Tag and Destination can successfully detect and replace numbers like 800-CALL-NOW. However, numbers such as 800-CALL-INVOCA will not be recognized by the Destination. In such cases, a custom code may be required to replace the specific vanity number.
