Applies To
Salesforce Sales Cloud
Procedure
- Navigate to your Salesforce instance.
- Makes sure you're logged in as the Authenticating User that has permission to the Invoca package
- In the App Launcher (9 dot waffle menu in the upper left corner), type and select "Invoca Admin"
- Scroll down to the "Optional: Send Data from Salesforce to Invoca" section.
- Select "Yes" under the section that asks, Would you like to send Lead Conversion or Opportunity related data to Invoca?
- Select the checkbox next to, Send Opportunity Conversion Data to Invoca
- Select the Opportunity stage(s) that you want to report back to Invoca as Signals.
- Select the Opportunity object and field that revenue is reported in, then select "Revenue" under the Invoca Field drop-down option.
- In the second Select Opportunity Stage box select which Opportunity stage(s) should report Revenue back to Invoca. This acts as a trigger to tell the package when to send revenue to Invoca.
Additional Information
- Only the Authentication User or Profile with the right credentials can make these updates.
- This option will only be available to you if you have the following two settings selected:
1. "Yes" is selected to send Lead Conversion or Opportunity related data to Invoca.
2. The Opportunity object is selected in the Matching Logic section
- Invoca accounts only have a specific number of Signals available to them, please work with your Customer Success Manager to make sure you have enough and that the Signal is created before you try to send data back to Invoca.
- Signals are case-sensitive so the Opportunity Stage/Disposition needs to match the Signal name in Invoca.
- Revenues will be reported as increments instead of new line items for separate transactions.
