Objective
The goal is to understand the timing at which Invoca transfers data to Salesforce in order to gain a clearer understanding of the Invoca data points that can be mapped to Salesforce.
Procedure
- Log in to Invoca and access the left-hand panel.
- Select "Integrations" and then choose "Manage Integrations."
- Click on "Sales Cloud."
- Choose the specific Salesforce Sales Cloud name.
- If the option "Send call data to Salesforce upon call start" is enabled, Invoca will send calls via both a pre-transfer webhook and a post-call webhook.
- If the option "Only send call data to Salesforce upon call finish" is enabled, Invoca will transmit calls solely through a post-call webhook.
Additional Information
Gotchas:
- Some specific Invoca data points are not accessible in the webhook triggered at the start of a call. Consequently, these fields cannot be mapped to corresponding fields on the Lead, Account, Contact, Opportunity, or Case in Salesforce.
