Before a promo number is available for use in a campaign, it goes through an extensive cleansing and incubation process. For RingPools™, Invoca also provides a RingPool Incubation service to remove problematic phone numbers from your RingPool free of charge. What does that mean, exactly? Let’s go into more detail.

How it works:

If a promo number in your RingPool receives a phone call before it’s ever been presented to a customer, that call is obviously not useful to your business. Most likely, the call is fraudulent, a misdial, or remnant traffic from its last owner. That call won’t experience any interruption, and will still go through the same call treatment experience as the rest of your RingPool and will be connected to your destination call center, but we don’t display records of those calls in Invoca.

If your promo number starts receiving poor quality calls before it’s ever been displayed to a customer, however, it’s likely to keep receiving them afterwards. So, to minimize the number of poor quality phone calls you receive, we’ll automatically remove that phone number from your RingPool and replace it, to improve the overall quality of calls you receive.

This number replacement is free of charge, and our RingPool Incubation logic works to replace a number with as similar of a number as possible (toll-free for toll-free, local for local, etc). On the other hand, once a promo number has been presented to a customer, it will never be replaced from your RingPool.
