Objective
To test your Invoca Tag functionality on a page that does not yet have it deployed in your source code or tag manager.
Applies To
- Customers adding a new Invoca Tag to their site
- Customers adding their existing Invoca Tag to new webpages.
Procedure
- In the Invoca Tag Wizard in your platform, copy the portion of the code snippet between the two <script> tags.
- Open an incognito window in your browser (preferably Chrome) and open the dev tools console.
- Paste the code snippet into the console and press enter

Additional Information
- If the webpage you want to test your Invoca Tag on also has DialogTech deployed on it, follow the steps in this article to prevent DialogTech from running and interfering with your testing.
- If you are testing your Tag in an open draft, be sure to add the parameter invoca_rev=draft to your testing URL--e.g. www.example.com?invoca_rev=draft.
