Objective

The goal is to understand the timing at which Invoca transfers data to Salesforce in order to gain a clearer understanding of the Invoca data points that can be mapped to Salesforce.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Invoca and access the left-hand panel.
  2. Select "Integrations" and then choose "Manage Integrations."
  3. Click on "Sales Cloud."
  4. Choose the specific Salesforce Sales Cloud name.
  5. If the option "Send call data to Salesforce upon call start" is enabled, Invoca will send calls via both a pre-transfer webhook and a post-call webhook.
  6. If the option "Only send call data to Salesforce upon call finish" is enabled, Invoca will transmit calls solely through a post-call webhook.

Additional Information

Gotchas:
  • Some specific Invoca data points are not accessible in the webhook triggered at the start of a call. Consequently, these fields cannot be mapped to corresponding fields on the Lead, Account, Contact, Opportunity, or Case in Salesforce.
